UIL joins the fight for freedom of trade union leaders in Belarus

The Italian national trade union center UIL (Italian Labor Union) supported the information campaign "Trade Union Activity - Not Extremism!" and demanded the release of trade union leaders and activists from Belarusian prisons. In support of activists of free and independent trade unions, Italian activists shot a video of solidarity.

The Italian labor union, UIL, is the largest trade union association in Italy and currently represents over 2,200,000 workers and employees. UIL is a member of the International Trade Union Confederation (ITUC), like the Belarusian Congress of Democratic Trade Unions (BCDT), and is also a member of the European Trade Union Confederation (ETUC).
