On January 30th , the court of Navapolatsk considered the case of "extremism", in the framework of which the head of the accounting department of "Pаlimir" - Aksana Kapshul - ex-wife of political prisoner, activist of the Belarusian Independent Trade Union (BNP), legal adviser of "Naftan" Aliaksandr Kapshul - is accused.
The results of the trial are not yet known.
January 23, 2024, the wife of the political prisoner was arrested during the mass detention by law enforcement agencies. During this roundup, interrogations and searches of relatives of political prisoners took place. In total, about 200 people were detained across the country.
Aksana Kapshul is a leading specialist of the enterprise. In 2020, she was the head of the long-term assets accounting sector at Palimir, according to the group „Naftan Against Extremism“.
