On October 9th , Judge Stanislau Ivanyutsenka found Palina Sharenda-Panasiuk guilty of "malicious disobedience to the colony administration" (part 2 of article 411 of the Criminal Code) and sentenced her to one more year in addition to three years in the colony.
At the first court hearing she stated that she had been beaten in Zarechie colony - her face and internal organs were badly damaged.
Recall that Palina is a public and trade union activist from Brest, detained on January 3, 2021. The mother of two minor sons was convicted under a number of articles of the Criminal Code. At the end of February 2022, a criminal case under part 2 of Article 411 of the Criminal Code was brought against the political prisoner, and then sentenced to another year of imprisonment.
According to "Berestayskaya Viasna," Homel Regional Court will consider the cassation appeal of the detainee on December 15.
