Employees of the Main Department for Combating Organized Crime and Corruption (GUBOP) continue to detain workers who took part in protests against Lukashenka's regime or were in opposition to it. This time several employees of the company "Legion-104," specializing in the maintenance of screens, which broadcasted the address of Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya, were caught in the crosshairs.
It is interesting to note that arrested in the form of interrogation of the workers, they are silent about the events related to the broadcast of Tsikhanouskaya's address, they were detained, presumably, for participation in the protests in 2020.
Recall that yesterday more than 2,000 screens in Belarus showed the address of Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya, organized with the support of the organization BelPol. This incident galvanized the law enforcers and became an occasion for new intimidation actions in the country.
The ongoing arrests of workers for engaging in political activity are part of a widespread crackdown on opposition-minded citizens in Belarus.
