Bremen Belarusians celebrated Freedom Day with a quiz on the history of the BNR

On March 25, the day of the proclamation of the independence of the Belarusian People's Republic, Belarusians from Bremen, Germany, held a quiz "What do you know about the Belarusian People's Republic?"

At the beginning of the event, participants listened to a video message from the Chairman of the Rada of the BNR, Ivonka Survila, in which she called on Belarusians to show the world that we stand for justice and goodness:

"The present time is crucial not only for Ukraine, but also for the whole world and for Belarus. But together we will not let the enemy destroy our unity. Together we will overcome all trials and achieve our goal: to live on our native land, in our own and independent state, where we ourselves will decide "on the future state relations of Belarus."

After that, quiz participants demonstrated their knowledge of the history, geography, and international activities of the BNR government. They had to answer more than 50 questions. The questions and answers were compiled by a professional historian, a researcher of the national revival theme, the activities of the Belarusian Socialist Assembly, and the emergence of the Belarusian People's Republic.

For each correct answer, the residents of Bremen received sweets. The winner was determined by the number of correct answers and received a backpack and a set of Bremen sweets as a gift. At the end, everyone could taste the delicious white-red-white cake baked by one of the event's participants.
