According to a former prisoner, who saw Palina in late June in Volodarskiy pre-trial detention centre, "her nose bridge was broken and two black eyes were visible". According to her, this was done by other prisoners, who were put in Palina's cell by the administration of the penal colony.

In addition, the husband of political prisoner Andrei Sharenda said that in June an ambulance was called to Polina and she was sent to the sanitary unit for some time. In his opinion, his wife could have been beaten at that time.

Recently, Palina was sent to the Navinki Republican Centre for Mental Health for an examination. But Palina refused to be examined - she did not talk to the doctors, refused to take any medication, and also refused to take any kind of tests. As a result, Palina was sent to Valadarka in an emergency, special stage, and literally after a couple of night hours from SIZA-1 she was sent back to colony No. 24 in Zarechcha.
