The court will consider the complaints of the leaders of the Belarusian Congress of Democratic Trade Unions (BKDP) and the Belarusian Trade Union of Radio-Electronic Industry (REP).
Recall that in December 2022 Minsk city court sentenced the leaders of the Association of Trade Unions "Belarusian Congress of Democratic Trade Unions" - chairman Aliaksandr Yarashuk to 4 years in prison, his deputy Siarhei Antusevich to 2 years, accountant Iryna But-Husaim to 1.5 years in prison.
A few weeks later Vasil Berasneu, Hennadz Fiadynich and Vatslau Areshka, accused in the "case of trade union REP" were sentenced to 9 and 8 years in prison. It is known that the convicts were transferred from Minsk pre-trial detention center to Mahiliou.
