The trial of political prisoner Palina Sharenda-Panasiuk from Brest will start on October 2 at 10 am. Palina is charged under Part 1 of Article 411 of the Criminal Code - malicious disobedience to the colony administration.
The case will be considered in Rechytsa District Court. The session will be open. All this is indicated in the court schedule, writes the human rights channel of Brest "Viasna".
Next week Palina will be transferred to the Rechytsa temporary detention center. Today she is in pre-trial detention center № 3 in Homel. Polina's health condition is very bad now. She has no contact with her relatives for six months.
We remind that the political prisoner will be tried for the second time under Article 411 of the Criminal Code. The punishment under this article is imprisonment for up to one year.
In 2021, Palina was sentenced to 2 years in prison for alleged violence and insulting the police, as well as for insulting Lukashenka. Later she was added 1 year of imprisonment under the same article 411 of the Criminal Code.
